Customer Care

Well recently, james broke my ipod nano's screen. A few friends had told me that apple is horrible about replacement stuff, and that if you break it, you get it repaired third party, or you buy a new one..
I knew that wasn't the case.. I knew it couldn't be, so i decided to look into it. I called apple, and after talking to a machine for like 30 seconds(which was kinda annoying, ill admit) i talked to a real person. She was very helpful, and she gave me a website http://depot.info.apple.com

You go to the website and log in(or make an account) it's like a 2 minute process, and then you apply for repair. I did that at around six pm Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, at like eleven, a self addressed, prepaid package was at the house to send it back. James put it in the box, and about the same time the next day, the emailed me to tell me that they got it, and would begin repair. I just got an email tonight(friday night) that they were done, and they shipped the replacement, 1-2 business days and i'll have it.

Overall i was very impressed with the customer care, and i think everything went about as fast as it possible could have.

Sprint, on the other hand, is another story. i won't get into that just now though. we'll wait and see if they screw it up more first.
